Burning is allowed for brush, grass and leaves. No other burning is allowed (such as construction grade materials, trash or plastics, as the smoke from these are hazardous to breath).

Permits are free and can be denied if it is so dry that there is a statewide burning ban in place or it is too windy. You are required to call on the day that you would like to burn. No permit is required for a recreational fire.
